QPR won with its two Hungarians

Postponed matches were played on Tueasday in English Coca-Cola League. Three Hungarian players were on pitch. Team of Ákos Buzsáky and Tamás Priskin won, Gábor Gyepes's team lost. Queen's Park Rangers played against Plymouth. Tamás Priskin was in line-up, Ákos Buzskáy started on bench. Londonian team won by 2-0, Priskin – who fought out the penalty – was on pitch wholly, Buzsáky came in in 73rd min. Cardiff lost by 2-0 at Ipswich's home, Gábor Gyepes played the match wholly in away team.

Lady national team
Draw against Slovakia

Our lady national team – preparing for a world cup qualification against Bosnia-Herzegovina in March 31 – played a match against Slovakia in MLSZ Telki training centre on Tuesday afternoon. We played well and got the lead in the beginning with a Gabriella Tóth goal but Slovakians equalized in 2nd half, and the match was ended by 1-1. They play again on Thursday at 1.00 pm. in Senec.

Lady futsal national team

Our lady futsal national team participated in a togetherness in Telki training centre. Károly Tóth head coach held training fore- and afternoon. The team play in a championship of four in Moscow two months later. We play against Ukraine and Iran between May 5 and 10. Before the championship there will be another togetherness, the squad will meet up in March 22nd in the training centre.

Lady national team: Two matches against Slovakia




Our lady national team – preparing for the world cup qualification against Bosnia-Herzegovina in May 30 – will play two matches against Slovakia this week. Attlia Vágó’s team will play on Tueasday at 1.00 pm. in MSLZ Telki training centre and on Thursday at 11.00 am. in Senec.

Hungarian legionaries in European leagues



This week we had two goalscorers – Buzsáky and Bodor – and a recorder, namely Pál Dárdai, who set the record of Michael Sziedat. In Belgium all of the Hungarian legionaries was in line-up – in Genk three Hungarians played together!

Another week, another Soproni League round. This week there were no big surprises but great matches so much the more. Honvéd could win easily after a long time, Ferencváros let pass a three goal lead, Kecskemét defeated Újpest. Videoton is still the first.

Couldn’t score against Croatia

Our U19 national team played in Andráshida on Thursday, U17 team played in Novo Selo-Roko against Croatia. Older team - who lost by 1-0 in Savska Ves – played a goal-less draw, U17 – after 4-1 lost – was defeated by 1-0.

This year started by draw

Our national team played against Russia at home at this year's very first game in ETO Park, Győr. The match - where we were coequal opponent for Russians and we were in ascendancy at bigger part of the time - was ended by 1-1. Vilmos Vanczák got the lead in the 39th min. but in the 59th min. Diniyar Bilyaletdinov equalized. The Russians finished the match with ten players because Denisov received his 2nd yellow card.

Olypmic team: Defeated in Italy



Our Olympic team played an U21 EURO qualification match against Italy in Rieti. According to the expectations the Italian team pressurized our team, a 1-0 half-time was followed by the 2-0 final result. Italy overtoke us and moved tp the 2nd place. in 66. min. the Italian Bolzoni received a red card and 6 minutes later Tamás Kádár was also sent-off.

FIFA world ranklist: Moving up by 4



Our national team moved up by 4 places and reached the 48th place on FIFA world ranklist still leaded by Spain. Opponents from our EURO qualification group: Netherlands is 3rd, Sweden is 42nd, Finland is 52nd, Moldova is 100th and San Marino is 203rd.

Olympic national team: Mayor of Rieti visited our team




Our Olympic team arrived on Monday night for the location of Wednesday's European Championship match against Italy, to Rieti. On Tuesday the city's mayor visited our team and wished good luck for ours - although not against his team.

U17, U19: one victory, one defeat

Preparing for European Championship qualifications, U17 and U19 played against Croatia on Tuesday. Younger team won by 4-1 in Zalakaros, U19 lost by 1-0 in Savska Ves. On Thuesday the teams play with each other one more time, U17 plays in Novo Selo-Roko at 2.00 pm., U19 in Andráshida at 1.00 pm.

Hungarian and Russian team trained after each other

Before the Wednesday's friendly match against Russia (Győr, ETO Park, 7.30 pm., Sport1) Hungarian national team participated in a physical test on Tuesday forenoon, Erwin Koeman held a one and quarter hour training in MLSZ Telki training centre afternonn. At nonn - with a tiny lag - the Russian team also arrived and first impressions affected our opponent as deep that the leaders, coaches and players went into raptures over our training centre.

Hungary-Russia, Koeman's squad: Koltai in place of Dzsudzsák

An obligate change happened in Erwin Koeman's squad before the Wednesday's Hungary- Russia friendly mach: Dzsudzsák Balázs injured at PSV's last match (after all he will be at the today's meeting in Telki) and he was originally substituted by Péter Halmosi but the player of Szombathelyi Haladás fevered. Finally Tamás Koltai got the place of Dzsudzsák.
